Get Set UK Newsletter April 2021

Industry News – Employability Market

April has been another extraordinary month for Get Set UK, both in terms of current contractual performance across the various contracts as well as new business growth within the sector. I am proud to say in April 2021, we have placed over 150 participants into employment through the employability & skills programmes we are currently running, taking the total since turn of the year to over 500 participants who have secured employment through the different provisions we currently run. This is testament to our expert Employment Advisors, Trainers, Employer Relationship Managers, and frontline managers who continue to work tirelessly to make positive impact in the lives of so many of our participants and unearth sustainable opportunities in challenging times.

I am delighted that Get Set UK is part of three bids to deliver what will be the sectors Flag Ship programme over the next four years. Get Set UK has formed excellent partnerships with all three winning successful Tier One Providers and looks forward to working with them to make this programme a success for job seekers, stakeholders, communities, and government. This is a great opportunity for our sector to showcase what we can do to support the Governments wider ‘Plan for Jobs’ policy and contribute to the wider mission of building UK back better. Thank you to all the Teams at Get Set UK for their efforts in April and so far this year. Keep up the great work – Jaies Morjaria, Get Set UK COO
